Truffle Shuffle Challenge: Chunk Vs. 2011 World Cup Kid

If you watched the USA vs. Japan Women’s World Cup final this afternoon, you most likely witnessed the unsuspecting fan that got some unsolicited attention. And if you didn’t watch the game, twitter blew up with people posting photos, videos, and comments. During the first half, right after the first goal scored by the Americans’ Alex Morgan, a young kid was caught lifting up his shirt and shaking with all his might as the camera panned the audience for the reaction by fans. He’s guaranteed to be hitting some late night shows in the coming weeks as some of the videos circulating on Youtube have already garnered almost 300, 000 hits. The 2011 World Cup joyous fan will probably be the next big thing, but don’t forget where the Truffle Shuffle originated. What about Chunk from The Goonies?

The excited kid was either channeling his inner Chunk or Brandi Chastain’s penalty kick celebration from the ’99 Women’s World Cup.

Sid’s never seen The Goonies. This is what he’s missing out on…
